Why Reuse?
Reduce, reuse, and recycle is listed in the order of least environmental impact. Why reuse before recycle? It takes more resources to recycle an item than it does to reuse it. Ask three questions before tossing an item: 1. Can I use this item in another way? 2. Can someone else use this item? 3. If no, then can this item be recycled? |
Reuse Ideas!!Want to reuse an item yourself, but are not sure how? See Sarah's Reuse boards on Pinterest.
Don't see an idea that inspires you? Try searching Pinterest or Google using reuse, repurpose or upcycling as search words. If you have a certain interest or material in mind combine it, example upcycling furniture ideas or toilet paper roll reuse. |
